In Celebration of Women’s History Month:  Story and Songs about the Match Girls / les allumettières, who engaged in the earliest strikes by women in Quebec in 1919 and 1924 against meagre pay and horrible working conditions making matches for E. B. Eddy.

Story:  Ruth Stewart-Verger, Ottawa StoryTellers, tells the story in English of the Match Girls and one of the first Quebec women strike leaders, Donalda Charron
