The page has been set up as a source for human rights news items that effect our members and inform members on the activities of the committee.
The Human Rights Committee supports the promotion of human rights issues to all the membership, including Pride Communities; Indigenous Communities; Racialized Communities; Women; and Persons with Disabilities. The Committee engages in the communication and exchange of information, by consulting with employers on Employment Equity Issues, by promoting education and training, by building coalitions with union and community-based groups engaged in human rights concerns.
