It was an honour to be chosen as one of the volunteers to carry the names of victims of the residential school system at the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on Parliament Hill. Joined by many of our GSU and PSAC comrades it was a day to reflect and remember.
Our awesome colleagues at the Royal Canadian Mint have released a new commemorative coin, proceeds from sales go to the Na-mi-quai-ni-mak Community Support Fund which helps survivors. Please support this much needed community group.
