The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) has launched its second national Respect at Work survey to better understand how harassment and violence continue to affect workers across the country.
When the CLC first surveyed workers in 2020, the findings were alarming — 88% of those who had experienced harassment or violence, including sexual harassment and violence, faced negative consequences such as job loss, suspension, or transfer.
Five years later, it’s time to see what’s changed.
Developed in collaboration with Western University and the University of Toronto, the 2025 survey invites workers from every sector to share their experiences. Whether or not you have personally faced or witnessed harassment or violence, your input is vital.
Your responses will remain confidential and anonymous, and the survey takes only 10–15 minutes to complete. The results will help guide the CLC’s future work on policy, advocacy, and education to make workplaces safer and more respectful for everyone.
If you’ve worked at any time in the past year and are 18 or older, add your voice.
Help shape stronger protections for workers, take the Respect at Work survey.
